Today the biometric systems are of interest not only to public institutions: large corporations and banks pay attention to advantages of similar solutions more and more. For this reason the Precise Biometrics company released new generation of the fingerprint readers Precise Sense.

"When choosing the solution for information security support many corporate clients are guided, first of all, by product cost. For vendor establishment of the optimal price – quite difficult task as the product should be at the same time universal and rather functional. We managed to solve this problem with release of a new series of readers. All readers are based on modular design that allows the client to select one of 6 possible variations, depending on specifics of his activity, - Thomas Marschall, the CEO of Precise Biometrics company says. – We are very happy with start of these solutions, they were looked forward by our many clients worldwide. In addition it would be desirable to note excellent design of new readers".

A new series of readers is expected generally large corporations and the bank industry, however public institutions also show interest in these products. The fingerprint readers Precise Sense will be provided in six options, three of which, are available already today. The functionality of solutions is different: it can be as the combined smart card readers and fingerprints, and the readers which are not requiring existence of a smart card. All of them can have touch or swipe the sensor.

Depending on customer needs start of readers for contactless NFC cards is also planned for this year. NFC is the contactless technology developed generally for mobile phones, demand growth for which is predicted in 2012.
