Aviation service platform - an industry information system for interaction between participants in air transportation, developed by FSUE ProtectionInfoTrans
2024: More than 90 million aviation messages transmitted
More than 90 million aviation messages were transmitted through the Aviation Service Platform. The developer announced this on June 28, 2024.
The Aviation Service Platform (IS ASP) information system was created by FSUE ProtectionInfoTrans to ensure the exchange of operational messages between airlines, airports and other participants in the aviation industry.
Historically, all operational data was transferred using foreign suppliers, which in more than half a century of their work became the industry standard for civil aviation. As a result, all information, including, in particular, personal data of passengers on domestic flights of the Russian Federation, passed through data centers located abroad. In addition to the obvious threat of data compromise, the risk of foreign suppliers leaving the Russian market was also obvious.
As of June 2024, FSUE ProtectionInfoTrans were to ensure the connection of all key airports and airlines in Russia. In addition, two Russian and one Chinese air transportation booking systems are connected to the Aviation Service Platform.
In addition, as part of promoting the development of international air transportation, TSA has established work with foreign airlines and airports to carry out information interaction between. countries As of June 2024, a partnership was concluded with airlines from,, Israel,, Kazakhstan,, and Qatar PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA UAE Serbia several Uzbekistan other countries, as well as with airports and. Turkey Mauritius
FSUE ProtectionInfoTrans continues to work on interaction with foreign partners, in particular, successful meetings with colleagues in Myanmar and a visit to the Aviation Administration of the Arab Republic of Egypt were held.
In 2022, the system processed and delivered about three million messages, in 2023 their number crossed 64 million. And as of the end of June 2024, their number was more than 90 million. These are messages that are critical for the air transport industry, including information on the movement of aircraft, baggage messages, flight passenger lists and other necessary data. Any transfer of data is carried out in full accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
2023: Cobra AS compatibility
The supplier of IT solutions for civil aviation RIVTS-Pulkovo together with FSUE ProtectionInfoTrans of implemented integration between AS COBRA and IS Aviation Service Platform (ASP). RIVC-Pulkovo announced this on August 8, 2023.
Tests of information interaction of NPP "COBRA" confirmed its ability to fully support the format of telegram exchange according to protocol S3 for IE "ASP." This means that systems can seamlessly communicate with each other, ensuring the transfer of personal data over encrypted communication channels. Such interaction is particularly important after the imposition of sanctions, such as disconnections from SITA channels. Another advantage of this integration is that both systems are developed in Russia and fully comply with domestic standards and requirements. Experts believe that the domestic solution will completely replace SITATEX.
The integration solution has already been successfully implemented at the international airport "Begishevo named after N.V. Lemaev":
The introduction of the integration of AS "COBRA," developed by JSC "RIVTS-Pulkovo" with IS "ASP," developed by "ZIT" to the international airport "Begishevo named after N.V. Lemaev" made it possible to fulfill the requirements of the legislation on the transfer of personal data via encrypted communication channels, and this is really an important step in the development of the airport management system. Such integration will significantly increase flight safety and the efficiency of the airport, "said A.P. Parfenenko, General Director of Begishevo International Airport named after N.V. Lemaev. |
The results of cooperation between IS ASP and AS COBRA open up opportunities for the development of the aviation industry in Russia. This allows us to effectively use technologies and innovations, improve the quality and safety of flights, as well as increase the competitiveness of Russian airports. The implementation of the integration solution at Begishevo International Airport is just the first step towards implementation across the country.
