On May 14, 2020 the Pure Storage company announced an exit of Purity//FB 3.0 for FlashBlade, the software for storage of unstructured data. FlashBlade provides the single fast-scalable platform for storage of files and objects created especially for support of development processes of modern mobile applications, analytics and data protection of new generation.

According to the developer, the FlashBlade platform differs in what accelerates operation of applications and data exchange between applications and workloads. The last updates of FlashBlade provide performance in real time that allows to bring workflows to the forefront.
