Warm lamp sound for smartphones: Qoobi will show the innovation device on the Soviet radio tubes on CES 2018 in Las Vegas
In January, 2018 the wireless device which will transform digital music from the smartphone to an analog format is presented at an exhibition of consumer electronics in Las Vegas. It is the first development of Qoobi Audio Innovations Company which was implemented in cooperation with the design center of Promwad electronics.
Qoobi has no exact analogs in the world, this device on a joint of technologies and arts created for judges of qualitative music of the class hi-end. In this development 100 years of development of radio engineering are concluded: from vacuum radio tubes which appeared at the beginning of the last century, to Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless transmission of audio. Qoobi receives a digital sound from any smartphone, will transform it to an analog format and brings to the home audio system.
In device heart — radio tubes of the Soviet sample which are still made at the plant in Saratov. This plant delivers two thirds of world volume of vacuum lamps for professional audio equipment in Europe, America and Asia. Around the world there were only four such plants.
Founders of the Qoobi project share the history of creation of the device: "Once we thought: and what if on the smartphone it was possible to listen to music with the same quality, how at musicians in studio? Digital music in a compressed format is similar to the frozen pizza. The player in the smartphone "defreezes pizza" as the microwave. Conveniently, but it is not really tasty. And we decided to make the device which "will defreeze" music as the good wood-fired furnace. Tasty, and with aroma. So there was Qoobi".
As a result not the just wireless preamplifier on radio tubes, but also performing the modern art — a bright subject of any interior turned out. In 2017 the innovation design developed by Qoobi company was awarded a gold award of A' with Design Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the world in the field of design.
The independent design center of Promwad electronics which helps startups and the mature companies to implement the ideas for the market of electronics in the form of serial products is engaged in development of the serial product Qoobi. In the Promwad portfolio — more than three million released devices for customers worldwide. Earlier they developed prototypes and serial products for a startup of Lapka which was redeemed by the American company Airbnb.
The CEO of Promwad Pakholkov Roman tells: "The Qoobi project became for us a call. For production of the body non-standard materials are used: the internal form is made of anodized aluminum with manual polish, the external form is a prism from thin quartz glass which cools heated radio tubes. Of course, it looks very effectively, especially with LED illumination which is controlled through mobile application".
