2022: System Announcement

On November 30, 2022, HemoSonics announced the release of the Quantra hemostasis system with a QStat cartridge. In particular, it can be used for injuries and liver transplantation procedures.

HemoSonics developed a new generation system to expand Quanta's overall diagnostic capabilities. According to the press release, the device covers the widest range of indications among all hemostasis analyzers produced in the United States. The device uses SEER sonorheometry. Patented medical grade ultrasound technology helps measure the coagulation properties of a whole blood sample.
