On August 3, 2018 Microsoft announced Quantum Katas creation ("Quantum the kat") — series of the managements open source for independent training in programming on Q# — the computer language created especially for quantum computings.
According to the company, Quantum Katas is a set of exercises of the kat, each of which offers the sequence of tasks of a certain subject of quantum computings, from simple to difficult. Each task requires input of some code: for the first task only one line, and for the last — a large fragment of the code can be required. The testing environment checks solutions, providing a feedback in real time. At the successful solution of the first task the participant can pass to following.
