2023: Inclusion in the register of Russian software

An AI solution for industry from rdl by red mad robot is included in the register of domestic software. The developer announced this on December 13, 2023.

It will be implemented at mining enterprises that are classified as critical information infrastructure facilities . The solution has already reduced unscheduled downtime by 4.5%, and the total number of errors in routine processes - by 20% at one of the ore production facilities.

The solution is an automated computer vision system for monitoring the loading of rock into dumpcars (wagons for bulk technical cargoes) and dump trucks. The software and hardware complex and web service allow you to track the transported product according to the passport loading regulations - the bulk cargo must have the correct weight and profile of the slide without shifting the center of gravity to either side.

Thanks to this technology, one of the ore production facilities managed to reduce the specific consumption of fuel for dump trucks by 2.9%, the specific consumption of electricity for dumpcars by 3.1%, unscheduled downtime by 4.5%, and the total number of errors in routine processes - by 20%. At the same time, the volume of finished products was increased by 1-2% due to an increase in the transported breed.

The system was developed and introduced into production by rdl (part of the red_mad_robot), which is engaged in the creation of digital solutions based on artificial intelligence for industry.

Inclusion of software in the register is a prerequisite in the procurement of state bodies and companies with state participation. Since 2022, a ban has been introduced on the purchase of foreign software at critical information infrastructure facilities, and by 2025 such facilities should completely switch to Russian software.
