2025: Production Launch
In August 2025, the Russian Space Systems (RKS) began serial production of a new line of secondary power sources - key components of the power supply systems for on-board satellite equipment. The holding, part of the state corporation Roscosmos, has created unified modular devices with a capacity of up to 240 W to form a stabilized power supply for space equipment.
The new power supplies are designed to provide the required power supply parameters for on-board satellite equipment. The products cover a wide range of output capacities with different input and output voltages and a full range of service functions.
Secondary power supplies have a unified modular design, which allows you to create power supply systems of any configuration and degree of complexity. The devices are characterized by minimal weight and size parameters, high reliability indicators and significant resistance to external influences.
Pavel Bonomorsky, Deputy General Designer of the RKS for Power Electronics, stressed that the new series of secondary power sources was developed by the company on the basis of in-house electric radios. According to him, this allows RKS to control and confirm the quality and reliability of devices at all stages of manufacture.
The RKS Microelectronics Center is implementing a program to strengthen the technological sovereignty of the rocket and space industry in the field of microelectronics. The division develops and produces a modern electronic component base for applications in the space industry and related industries.[1]
