Several sections of RPCM.CLUD. RCNTEC developers tried to make them more useful to users by providing access to the information that users most need with as few actions as possible that users must perform to get the result.

RPCM.Cloud version 0.13.0

This release makes the Group more useful. RPCM.CLOUD now shows in the Groups the totals of the instantaneous and accumulated consumption values for all RPCMs in the groups. With this, customers can now see "like at their fingertips" the overall consumption of their racks, server rooms, and even entire Data Centers with the ability to delve into details. This allows customers to quickly check detectable facts and find ways to optimize power consumption in their power infrastructure.

Locations in the Groups and on the Map now allow you to quickly assess the presence and severity of problems on the entire client power infrastructure by highlighting locations with appropriate colors.

Graphs now make it much easier to find useful patterns during troubleshooting and patterns to optimize consumption, thanks to implemented presets of time ranges with which users can quickly upload the necessary consumption history.

Finding specific groups of outlets within the ranges of instant consumption or voltage, as well as cumulative consumption counters, has now become much faster thanks to the implementation of logical functions in Port filters.

And also, the Help section was improved, making it easier for users to learn the details of using the rich functionality of RPCM.CLOUD, some details were improved and several unpleasant problems were fixed.

Using the RPCM.CLOUD features presented, users can see how their intelligent power management infrastructure, built on the basis of RPCM Smart PDU, gives them the best opportunities to optimize and solve problems.

The following is a list of improvements to this update:

  • In Groups, you can now see the total telemetry for the group. RPCM.CLOUD will show the cumulative accumulated kilowatt hours or instantaneous consumption for all RPCMs in the group. Plus, the cloud will highlight the group with the color of the most critical status on the RPCM'ax members of this group.
  • On Deshboard, in Graphs and Magazines in RPCM.CLOUD were added ready-made presets of dates for convenient selection of the query period: Last - 90, 30, 7, 1 day. Last quarter, month, week, day. Current - quarter, month, week, day.
  • In the Maps section, marked locations will be highlighted with the color of the most critical status of all RPCMs in this location.
  • In the Ports section, you added more options to select the right data from the entire scope. Users will be able to use OR (| |) or AND (& &) boolean expressions to select the values they want.
  • The Documentation section was redone - it became more convenient and understandable.
  • Fixed error displaying date of last message to cloud from devices. For devices that have never transmitted data about themselves, it will be written "never" instead of "50 years ago."
  • The logic of showing the window informing about the expiration of the warranty on the devices has been changed. Users will be able to postpone the warning by clicking Show Later.
  • Fixed an error that causes the service to fail to sign in.

RPCM.CLOUD is free for RPCM Smart PDU with active warranty support.

2019

Release 0.12.0 RPCM.Cloud

On December 24, 2019, RCNTEC announced the release of update 0.12.0 of the RPCM.CLOUD cloud service. The list of changes and improvements includes the following items: - To help eliminate possible unexpected repair costs, now when entering the cloud, a reminder will be indicated in advance on which devices the warranty service period is coming to an end.

  • Filters in Ports are smarter! You can now filter the ports with counters and instantaneous values. For example: ma > 1000 - will show ports on which the current is more than 1000 mA.
  • In the Devices section, you can now filter and search for devices as conveniently as on ports! For example: kwh > 1000 - will show devices with a counter kVt⋅ch more than 1000. Or sw <= 0.7.7 - покажет устройства у которых версия software is lower than 0.7.7 inclusive.
  • For convenience added Dark Mode of cloud service design
  • Fixed a problem with displaying data on Dashboard for users who have only added DC devices.
