2024: Plan to create a special module to detect the dynamics of multiple sclerosis

RTK Radiology LLC and the Medical Association of Doctors and Centers of Multiple Sclerosis and Other Neuroimmunological Diseases (MAVRS) signed a Partnership Agreement with the aim of developing digital technologies in the field of neurology and developing a special module of the Unified Radiological Information System (ERIS). Multiple sclerosis is one of the most common diseases of the central nervous system, especially among young people. According to the World Health Organization, as of March 2024, there are more than 2 million patients with multiple sclerosis in the world.

The synergy of scientific knowledge, medical experience of neurologists, long-term experience of IT specialists in the development and implementation of automated solutions can create a convenient tool for automatic analysis of foci of multiple sclerosis, monitoring the course of the disease and monitoring the effectiveness of therapy.

Our association brings together both leading Russian experts and scientists recognized all over the world in the field of neurology and autoimmune diseases of the nervous system, and practicing neurologists working from primary health care to chief physicians of LPU. We believe that joint development will help physicians identify disease dynamics in a timely manner and prevent possible complications. As of March 2024, specialists use a set of instrumental diagnostic methods, a history and their own experience, the new solution will standardize and automate part of the processes, said Evgeny Evdoshenko, Vice President of MAVRS.
