2023: Polyana-D4M1 with the possibility of interfacing with aviation of the Russian Air Force and the Russian Navy
On August 14, 2023, the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation first presented an updated modification of the Polyana-D4M1 automated control system. The upgraded complex received the ability to interface with the aircraft of the air force and the navy. The development allows you to simultaneously couple up to 14 objects, provides protection of an area of 800 by 800 km, while up to 500 air objects can be located in the airspace of the area of responsibility.
Previously, the objects of control of the system were only anti-aircraft missile systems of the air defense forces of long (type "S-300"), medium (type "Buk") and short (type "Tor" and "Tunguska") range through the corresponding command posts.
The modernized Polyana-D4M1, developed and produced by the Penza Radio Plant JSC (part of Roselectronics), provides data collection and processing from digital radar stations of various ground and air-based ranges, as well as from air traffic control centers. The system controls the duty forces, conducts automated exchange of operational-tactical and command-signal information with higher and interacting objects using data transmission equipment and classifying equipment.
ASU "Polyana-D4M1" provides training of combat crews and duty, and in wartime - fire control of subordinate units based on data received from radar reconnaissance equipment. The reaction time of the system to the opening of fire is 2-3 seconds.
"Modernized" Polyana-D4M1 "is the latest promising system-forming complex of a multi-element combat information system. It is capable of providing reliable protection for both military formations and public administration facilities and industrial enterprises. This is a flexible integrated system that can adapt to the control system of troops of any state, "said Sergey Sakhnenko, General Director of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (managing organization of the Roselectronics holding). |
The complex is located on 4 cars and consists of a combat control center, a command and staff machine and two mobile power plants. In addition to the mobile version, Polyana-D4M1 has an autonomous automated workplace (AARM) designed to equip stationary command posts of the troops. The APC duplicates the hardware of the Polyana-D4M1 ACS and can serve as both spare and auxiliary equipment for stationary accommodation, but with slightly limited functionality in terms of the number of interface objects.
