Collecting over 2,000,000 rubles

Within the social O2O-platform (online-to-offline) "Help the doctor" Rambler Group collected over 2,000,000 rubles. The company reported about it on June 19, 2020. Thanks to these means, delivered to health workers about 10,000 portions of hot meals: 6,480 portions — in Federal State Budgetary Institution NMITs Kardiologii of the Russian Ministry of Health, 3,084 portions - in FGBUN "FITs of a power supply and biotechnology". Balance was directed to purchase of more than 290 respirators with the highest degree of protection for the First Town hospital of N.I. Pirogov. The Joy Bench fund and also network of cafe acted as the partner of the project and "I Have Coffee".

Exactly thanks to this support in the minimum terms we managed to collect the amount sufficient in order that within a month to provide with three meals a day of the health workers who are taking part in fight against COVID-19 in Russia. For us it was very important to support real heroes of our time — health workers who during a pandemic worked in the unrationed diagram, the hardest conditions and risking own lives.

Start of the online platform for the help to medical personnel

On May 6, 2020 Rambler Group announced start of the social O2O-platform (online-to-offline) "Help the doctor" within which delivery of three meals a day to the Russian physicians involved in treatment of patients with COVID-19 will be organized. Any person can transfer funds that who daily struggles with a virus and saves lives. A power supply for medical personnel, both senior, and younger, will be delivered from restaurants and cafe on specially developed menu approved with specific hospital.

On start of the project the first address aid will be directed to employees of one of hospitals of the Moscow region. The list of organizations to which it will be helped will extend in process of participation of bigger number of users in the project.

The size of a contribution is not limited, different options of payment are available to convenience: the bank card, money transfer according to details, through Sberbank Online, Alpha Click, Promsvyazbank, Yandex.Money and Google Pay. Also there is an opportunity to configure autopayment and to help physicians on a monthly basis.

Support of the project and informing on the platform will be performed by media assets of Rambler Group: on the Rambler portal, in the largest federal editions Lenta.ru Gazeta.ru, Championship, within the media and service Poster platform and also in "LiveJournal".

Relying on experience of foreign countries, we can predict an exit to the plateau and gradual decrease in quantity of cases of hospitalization at COVID-19 in Russia. However at the same time the medical personnel will still experience a high load. Therefore we want to organize not a one-time marketing action, and to create the platform within which there will be a permanent address help to medical personnel. Our project - gratitude to those who work on a front line in these hard times and saves every day lives. Also, involving cafe and restaurants in cooperation, we are going to give support of cafe and to restaurants - to small and medium business to which the pandemic caused catastrophic damage. We round the clock inform people on a situation with a coronavirus and we want to integrate all who want to help, with those for whom this help is necessary. If each of our users offers on one ruble, we will be able to provide within a month with three meals a day several tens of hospitals.
