2024: Product Announcement
At the end of June 2024, the Pella Leningrad Shipyard presented the Raptor 2.0 high-speed armored boat. This vessel with a displacement of approximately 30 tons and a length of about 20 meters can be equipped with a UAV-corrector of vertical take-off and landing.
As the head of the design department of the St. Petersburg enterprise "Pella" Yuri Danekin said, the boat is armed with a new ship gyro-stabilized remotely controlled combat module "Narval" of 12.7 mm caliber with increased indicators of range of use, accuracy and accuracy of fire. In addition, it is allowed to install a multi-caliber rocket launcher. The vessel's arsenal includes a system for detecting laser radiation and making passive interference, as well as a survey and aiming optical-electronic module.
Danekin notes that at Raptor 2.0, unlike the basic project, due to Western sanctions, the propulsion complex (propulsive) was replaced with Chinese. This led to an increase in the length of the upgraded boat by 1.5 meters, which "had a good effect on its speed qualities." The vessel is capable of speeds over 50 knots, and the range reaches 400 miles. Landing compatibility - up to 20 people.
The boat can be used to carry out patrol service, conduct tactical reconnaissance, provide anti-terrorist actions, as well as to destroy small-sized surface sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy. In addition, Raptor 2.0 is suitable for delivery (evacuation) and fire support for the actions of special forces and marines in coastal areas. The vessel, as noted, can be used as part of operations to search and rescue crews of ships and aircraft in distress.[1]
