2017: Red Hat integrated a complex of technologies into Cloud Suite
On July 10, 2017 the Red Hat company submitted the version of Red Hat Cloud Suite.
Using corporate Linux distribution kit as a basis, Red Hat Cloud Suite offers the powerful scalable infrastructure of the enterprise level for container applications constructed on the basis of Red Hat OpenStack Platform and Red Hat Virtualization.
Infrastructure of Red Hat Cloud Suite is created for the problem resolution of digital transformation and support of the enterprises when using container applications. As a part of a packet the management system hybrid and the Red Hat CloudForms multicloud environments works that does Red Hat Cloud Suite by a ready-made product for application of Linux containers at all stages of lifecycle of applications, from the PC of the developer to the crucial systems in a cloud.
Properties of release Red Hat Cloud Suite
As a part of the version of Red Hat Cloud Suite of addition and an opportunity:
- Kubernetes of a corporate class – Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, one of the Red Hat Cloud Suite components. 2016: Red Hat started Cloud Suite service
For April, 2016 Red Hat Cloud Suite is a set of previously integrated cloud computing of Red Hat which provides development and deployment of cloud applicaions, offering the OpenShift platform from Red Hat and also the IT infrastructure with the unified management tools supporting large-scale expansion.
Integrating the platform of containerization of the OpenShift Enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure of Red Hat OpenStack Platform and a set of management tools Red Hat CloudForms, a packet of Red Hat Cloud Suite allows to accelerate development and deployment of services and applications in private cloud environments and also to optimize already available workloads at the expense of the improved means of virtualization with the increased performance. The packet provides creation of a modern cloud environment in which application developers can create, test and unroll applications, using modern solutions on the basis of container microservices without loss of control and transparency.
Besides, the following management tools and infrastructure components are a part of a packet of Red Hat Cloud Suite:
- The unified management system of Red Hat Satellite – transactions, lifecycle, self service features, monitoring of infrastructure. Also provides management of updates, configurations and subscriptions. The new directory with self service features supports management of a vital cycle, operational tasks and financial aspects of the services unrolled by customers now.
- Service of Red Hat in monitoring of infrastructure of the customer of Red Hat Insights – data collection, analytics and informing on possible problems in work of the Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat CloudForms and Red Hat Satellite systems.
