2022: Announcement of a complex providing communication between remote regions

Russia In developed a complex for providing communication of remote regions, which does not need electricity. This was announced, Radio Research Institute (NIIR) which created a new technology.

The support is a structure on which telecommunication and other equipment can be placed and located in places where there are no power grids - the support itself equips the equipment with electricity due to solar panels, two types of wind generators and batteries buried in the ground.

The Russian Federation has developed a complex for providing communication between remote regions, which does not need electricity

An autonomous complex can provide remote locations with cellular communications, but it can also be used to power emergency response systems, for example, in the prevention of forest fires.

The low power consumption of the base IoT station can significantly reduce the cost of the entire system. Compared to a diesel generator unit, it does not require constant maintenance and regular overhaul.

The operation of the entire complex is controlled by special software that regulates the power generated and consumed by the complex of electricity. This software may, for example, disable individual sectors of base stations if necessary.

The complex provides power from 0.3 to 5 kW, depending on the modification. This allows you to serve all types of payload installed on the support around the clock, noted in the research institute.

The institute believes that the complex can become the most economically beneficial solution to the communication problem due to the almost complete lack of operating costs. The complex requires almost no maintenance and is protected from unauthorized entry. In serial production, capital costs for the installation of the complex pay off in 4-5 years, specialists from the Research Institute of Radio calculated.[1]
