Rittal RitMatrix S

The solution Rittal RitMatrix S includes racks for placement of the North and the equipment of switching (expected a heat load up to 10 KW on everyone), control systems and supports of a microclimate, means of distribution of power supply and monitoring of operating parameters of the module.

Placement of the cooling system lower than the level of a raised floor under racks (implementation of the principle of Zero-U-Space Cooling-System — ZUCS) allows to save space in racks. Racks for simplification of process of cooling are delivered without doors and sidewalls. High readiness of a system of microcontrol in racks is provided thanks to scheme n+1.

As representatives of Rittal told, it is possible to build of solution modules of RitMatrix S quickly constructions with common areas of a cold or hot air and also to build them in a row.

For the purpose of reservation power supply in the solutions RitMatrix S is implemented through two independent feeders. Directly in racks cables get divorced on trays on top. The hardware-software module of power distribution Rittal PDU managed supports measurement of an expense of the electric power up to each separate socket.

The monitoring system of Rittal CMC III collects data from 32 sensors registering temperature, humidity and smoke. The administrator can use these data in RiZone software for control and management of physical parameters of the environment in the volume occupied by the solution RitMatrix S.

In the solution the new racks of Rittal — TS IT company supporting technology of bezinstrumentny installation of the active IT equipment and expected 1.5 t of weight loading everyone are used.

Two candidate solutions enter a line of RitMatrix S. The younger Single 6 option is completed six server and one switching with racks. The UPS block providing about 9 min. independent operation under an overall load also enters into it.

The senior Single 8 option includes eight server racks and one rack for network equipment. The lack of the UPS block in the senior solution Single 8 as specialists of Rittal explained, is caused by its orientation to the broad scaling meaning use of the external centralized UPSes.

Application of the solution RitMatrix S, according to specialists of Rittal company, practically excludes a design stage of engineering infrastructure of DPC for the customer, simplifies the procedure of the order of a necessary complete set of the equipment, and deployment on the platform of the customer of the delivered set occupies few days (for Single 8 — to three days).
