At the same time, it loads quickly even with an unstable Internet, and all the main resources of the application are stored on the client side. Only updates are transmitted over the network. RooX PWA implements a complete set of use cases: binding, biometrics logging in, signing operations, working offline.

PWAs are based on the web technology stack, use adaptive web design, and are supported by all mobile device browsers.

2022: Support for offline biometrics login in PWA applications

The domestic development company RooX on November 16, 2022 announced that it supported offline login via biometrics PWA applications that it develops for companies with a large number of users. PWA can become insurance against removal from mobile application storks, and by providing users with the ability to log in and work in the application offline, companies can increase the level of service they provide.

Any company operating in the mass market will have scenarios when its client wants to get the necessary information without an Internet connection or with poor communication. For example, an airline passenger wants to make sure that he is going to the right airport, a bank client, while roaming - see where the nearest ATM is, without consuming traffic, an insurance client - see his policy in case of an accident, injury or illness, a traveler abroad - choose a suitable roaming offer and connect it by SMS. Often these are scenarios when the client is in a difficult situation and it is important for him to get certain information.

It is not the offline entry technology itself that is important, but the fact that it gives the client the opportunity to receive the company's services in those situations in which they used to have to put up with inconvenience. Biometrics in RooX PWA is built on the use of the WebAuthN protocol with asymmetric encryption. For offline login, an analogue of the certificate with the latest signed online data is created and used.

RooX PWA is for companies that could lose customers by removing mobile apps from stores. The prerequisite for the development of the solution was the sanctions of the United States and the EU, which led to the removal of applications of Russian companies from the AppStore, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
