2023: System Implementation
On December 20, 2023, the Rosa Khutor mountain resort announced the introduction of an artificial intelligence-based system for managing guest flows on cable cars. A function called "Rosa Khutor. Traffic jams "appeared in the mobile application.
The solution was developed by Rubbles specialists. The created AI model in its work uses historical data on the passages to the resort lifts. The tool is able to predict the loading level of cable cars for several hours in advance. Auxiliary information from other sources is used to improve pin accuracy.
The predictive analytics system created is expected to help significantly reduce "traffic jams" on lifts on peak dates. The service will allow guests of the resort to see where the likelihood of crowds of visitors is high, and where you can ride with the greatest comfort. Thus, lovers of outdoor activities will be able to spend time with greater benefit, and not spend it in queues.
Rushan Sabirov, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of the Rosa Khutor mountain resort, says that this is the first time a similar AI system has been used in client service in the tourism sector. The function will be available to guests of the resort in January 2024: the tool can be used through the map and diagram section in the application for. smartphones The organizers intend to summarize the results of the project at the end of the corresponding ski season.
In addition, it is planned to open an electronic record for a specific time of descent on the Olympia cable car. Thanks to this feature, guests will be able to book the most suitable travel interval for free and go down to Rosa Valley without waiting. According to such an electronic record, a special landing corridor will be organized.[1]
