2024: Spending 250 million rubles on the creation of the system
The Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring completed the first stage of the creation of the Unified Digital Platform, spending ₽250 million from the federal budget on system design. As it became known on October 23, 2024, the project is being implemented within the framework of the national program "Digital Economy."
According to CNews, Andrei Voevodin, adviser to the head of Roshydromet, said that in 2022 the Government Commission for Digital Development approved the project to create a state information system.
The project provides for the creation of a customer-centric ecosystem of information systems and digital services for the effective interaction of Roshydromet officials with state bodies, business and citizens through the Unified Portal of Public Services.
As part of the modernization, it is planned to develop a state monitoring network, an integrated information telecommunication system and an information computing system. Special attention is paid to the development of the information security subsystem.
A key element of the platform will be the Data Hub prototype, which provides data centralization and integration with the Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction System, as well as with the data collection subsystem "Typical Cloud Solution for Control Supervisory Activities."
As a result of the contract, the system project documentation was developed, including the concept, financial and economic justification and the draft terms of reference for the creation of the first stage of the information system.
The Ministry of Digital Development supported further work on technical and detailed design as part of the new national project "Data Economics and Digitalization of Public Administration." The implementation of the next stages depends on the allocation of additional funding.[1]
