"Person" Biometric identification and authentication of users of OS

In June, 2018 Rostec provided development in the field of biometric identification and authentication of users of the Person operating systems. The unique system of protection against cracking can be used in spheres of electronic payments, electronic document management and biometric identification ^[1]

Feature of Person is that the user password is not stored in a system in an initial format, and will be transformed by cryptographic methods and remains in the form of the code. At the same time initial user information immediately is removed from a system. As the password the combination of a key word and any of biometric data of the user can be used that completely excludes a possibility of unauthorized access to the operating system.

"The technology can be used in electronic payment systems, electronic document management, the systems of biometric identification of the personality, including remote. Development is unique from the point of view of applied approaches and cryptographic tools which guarantee invulnerability of a system for hackers. Similar development will be interesting to authorities, banks, business – everywhere where there is a problem of identification of users, security of the provided online services and data protection from malefactors in a cyberspace", - reported in Rostec.

The software tool performs conversion of easily remembered hand-written word password, a fingerprint, a voice phrase, the drawing of blood vessels of a palm and also their combination to any long password or a key to 256 bits (32 accidental signs in 8 to bit coding). Thus, the user is saved from need to store properly a key or to remember the long accidental password.
