2025: Introduction of Business Process Automation System "Stream"

Rostelecom on September 15, 2025 presented the Potok business process automation system.

The Potok platform is designed to model and automate business processes of any complexity in the areas of finance, HR, customer service, sales and IT management. The solution helps to optimize key operations: with the help of a visual editor based on BPMN 2.01, users create process diagrams and integrate external services. Once configured, Flow automatically executes the specified scripts. In addition, the system manages microservices and coordinates IT components in complex infrastructures.

"Stream" is focused on large Russian companies and state organizations with financial, accounting, HR and IT divisions, as well as project teams and customer support and sales services. The product is already used in the Rostelecom circuit in the key systems Script Manager and Sales Pipeline. This allows you to significantly speed up data processing and reduce operating costs.

The platform is designed as a domestic alternative to the foreign Camunda solution. Among the advantages are improved scalability, convenient process versioning, a low-code approach to implementing the integration layer, high performance and technical support in Russia.

In February 2024, Potok confirmed compliance with import substitution requirements. It was included in the Register of Russian software. The team will continue to develop the platform, focusing on customer requests and current market trends.
