2020: Development of RT Life

Rostelecom in cooperation with Redmadrobot developed corporate mobile application of RT Life which makes the smartphone the convenient assistant to the employee. Rostelecom reported about it on February 4, 2020. In the nearest future the companies are going to offer external clients development of corporate mobile applications based on solutions for RT Life. It will allow the companies to accelerate business processes, to reduce risks of information security and to receive the tool of direct link with employees.

With RT Life the staff of Rostelecom can quickly and just resolve working issues and not only. For example, it is possible to find on the run contacts of the necessary colleague, to discuss a task in the built-in chat and in it it is safe to send documents, to issue a holiday from the chat-bot, to order the meeting room, to learn about corporate news and discounts to employees.

It is possible to get remote access to an electronic document management system, corporate e-mail through the application, to contact technical support. The special section to Beginners will help again accepted employees to accustom to the company, to resolve organizational issues and to get access to corporate IT systems. In a personal account of the user there is a QR business card which contains all necessary contact information and when scanning suggests to save automatically it in Contacts.

Initial data: 120 thousand employees, 11 time zones, a large number of offices, are a lot of business trips and movements between offices in the large cities. The RT Life application helps to resolve at most working issues on the run. We resolved a set of technical and organizational issues, provided safe interaction of the employee when he is out of a workplace, with corporate IT systems. In total we designed and implemented more than 70 user scenarios. And end users estimated work of our designers and developers. Usually similar corporate applications require serious intervention in already existing IT systems.
