2024: Production Announcement
At the end of June 2024, Aquarius announced the launch of production of corporate routers in Tver. Investments in the project amounted to about 1 billion rubles. The company plans to release about 10 thousand devices in the first year of production.
The project is being implemented jointly with the Russian software developer Wimark systems. Production of enterprise-class Wi-Fi access points is scheduled to begin before the end of 2024.
The company expects a return on investment by the end of 2025 through the supply of routers under the state order. As the newspaper notes, corporate routers differ from consumer routers in an expanded number of connected devices.
According to representatives of "Aquarius," telecom operators do not show interest in acquiring Russian analogues of equipment for installation in apartment buildings and offices.
