RuPost (part of Astra Group) on February 21, 2024 announced the release of the WorksPad MDM mobile device management system as part of the integrated platform for ensuring the managed mobile work of WorksPad EMM (Enterprise Mobile Management) employees. EMM systems enable a comprehensive approach to managing mobile devices, applications, and content in an enterprise environment, providing IT professionals with the tools and technologies they need.

A key element of this system is the Mobile Device Management (MDM) module. The solution enables enterprises looking for replacements for foreign EMM platforms to organize work on tablets, portable phones and other similar devices, including both secure mobile workplaces and centralized management of mobile devices on iOS and Android. It allows you to administer Mobile Device on the network, configure and update software, and delete information in case of loss or theft of the device.

With the Mobile Device Management class superapp, organizations have the ability to provide secure employee access to corporate data, clearly distinguishing between workspace and personal space. Policies for configuring and auditing a mobile device at the OS level, as well as a corporate Wi-Fi network, are delivered and applied automatically. Enterprise content, such as mail and documents, runs in a secure container. WorksPad MDM supports typical functions specific to Mobile Device Management solutions, password policies, allows you to configure the privacy level and other parameters, as well as set the necessary security policies.

The management of WorksPad MDM is carried out on the same WorksPad server and from the same administrator console as the management of the classic WorksPad X client, which implements the superappa paradigm, which combines many business functions for an employee in a single mobile container: working with mail, calendars, documents, a secure browser, micro applications for accessing corporate information systems.
