2022: As part of a joint solution to control and protect the perimeter from ISS and Rubezh
On August 22, 2022, the company ISS announced that work had been completed to create an integrated perimeter control and protection system based on ACS RUBEZH STRAZH and the system. video surveillances SecurOS
As reported, the integrated ISS and Rubezh solution is designed to optimize the efficiency of security personnel and operators with access control and control systems. First of all, at facilities with special requirements for the level of security and at large, including geographically distributed enterprises, where hundreds and even thousands of executive, control and identification devices operate as part of the MCDS.
The main task of the integrated RUBEZH and ISS system is to provide the remote user with the most correct information about the situation in the control areas, and above all, at the time of detection of alarming events. And immediately and with the preservation of an evidence-based video base, which makes it possible to monitor the development of the situation, act deliberately and control the actions of employees on the ground, and then analyze and make management decisions.
By combining SecurOS (ISS) Video Management System and RUBEZH STRAZH (RUBEZH) MCDS, you can create a flexible, scalable solution that meets specific enterprise requirements.
The firmware of the integrated RUBEZH STRAZH solution consists of network controllers with embedded software (versions 1.2 and higher, Enterprise license) and access modules designed to expand the functionality of the controllers. The system is built according to the cluster principle (combining controllers into clusters); for its operation, a dedicated server is not required, management is carried out through the web interface, paid licenses for client workstations and server software are not needed.
The SecurOS ACS module provides many access control and fire alarm control functions in SecurOS. It also allows the user to classify events using markers, such as an alarm, device event, or granted access, to simplify processing, search, and filtering. ACS connects to cameras to immediately check for events using video. The interaction of the two systems is carried out within the framework of the SecurOS interface.
Integrated RUBEZH and ISS capabilities:
- Flexible customization of work scenarios according to the tasks of a specific control object.
- Visual inspection to clarify the situation and decide on the need for intervention.
- Delineation of duties of security personnel and administrative personnel.
- Formation of an undeniable evidence video base, including for internal investigations in cases of emergency. Video recordings correlate with the event log and smart card owner information.
- The ability to organize one-factor and two-factor authentication of persons passing through the control zone thanks to the use of the functionality of the SecurOS FaceX video analytics module.
- Quickly deploy the system to the site with deep integration of software components.
- Convenient multifunctional user interfaces.
- Easy to install, configure and use.
- Flexible scaling of the solution architecture according to the changing tasks of the object.
- The possibility of expanding the functionality of the solution by including other specialized equipment in its composition.
- Full support cycle: from pre-design work to support of the implemented solution at the industrial operation stage.
- Key functionality of the solution for the user
- Synchronization of events from MCDS and associated video with logging, saving, real-time viewing or playback of archive records.
- Display of all MCDS devices with their current statuses in the list of devices and on 2D/3D maps (graphic plans of objects); control of MCDS devices.
- The ability to view person cards (including photos) at the time of passing through the control zone (when reading smart card data) or in the event log.
- Operational processing (categorization of events by types, filtering, search by specified parameters) of standard and alarming events from MCDS due to association of MCDS objects with video surveillance cameras.
- Search for events related to a particular employee's pass, track the pass points, and view the corresponding archive video.
- Generate and export reports.
- Flexible interface management. Set the location of the event details panel on the desktop, select the data displayed in the event log, and so on.
This was an unusual experience in integration work. As a rule, the one who will develop the integration is determined with the direction in which the integration is done, that is, the developers of the system conditionally "above the level" (into which it integrates) perform support for the subsystem (which integrates). In this case, the RUBEZH STRAZH MCDS was integrated into SecurOS, but the development itself was carried out by our team. told Evgeny Varlamov, Head of RUBEZH STRAZH MCDS |
