2019: Multiformat reader R15 Multy

The RusGuard company provided on March 28, 2019 the multiformat reader of R15 Multy proximity cards.

According to the producer, reader 6 in 1 "R-15 Multy" is the universal device for access control with six operation modes. The multiformat reader at the same time works in two frequency ranges 125KHz and 13.56MHz. It allows to interact with a broad spectrum of technologies of identification. Including the smart cards protected from copying in SL1 or SL3 modes. Instead of special access cards it is possible to use normal contactless bank, transport, social, etc. maps. Also work with any mobile devices with NFC or BLE running iOS and Android (the free application of RusGuard Key) is supported.

Broad temperature range from - 40C to + 55C and degree of protection of the IP65 body will allow to install the device as indoors, and on the street. Protection of inputs and exits and quick-detachable jumpers will ensure safety and convenience at installation, the producer claims. Service of custom firmwares gives the chance to change logic of work depending on tasks by change of the internal microprogram through USB or RS-485.

Description of operation modes:

1. the "reader ID" Mode Reads out unique number (ID) of the card and transfers access controls in the external controller.
2. the "reader protected" Mode Performs double-sided data exchange between the reader and a smart card of Mifare. Reads out the encoded these cards and transfers access controls in the external controller.
3. Near Field Communication Performs bilateral data exchange between the reader and the smartphone with NFC. Reads out the encoded data from the NFC device and transfers access controls in the external controller. NFC devices on iOS and Android are supported. Well free application of RusGuard Key.
4. Bluetooth Low Energy Performs bilateral data exchange between the reader and the smartphone with BLE. Reads out the encoded data from the BLE device and transfers access controls in the external controller. BLE devices on iOS and Android are supported. Well free application of RusGuard Key.
5. the "independent controller" Mode of control of the lock the Controller autonomous combined with the reader manages the electronic lock using the settings and keys saved in memory of the controller. It is possible to install settings in the controller in several ways: master key, button of programming or utility. The connected equipment:

6. the "Data on Card controller" Mode of control of the lock the Data on Card Controller combined with the reader manages the electronic lock, using the configuration saved in memory of the controller. Data on access rights of users and audit of passes are stored in memory of a smart card of Mifare. Thus, there are no restrictions for number of cards in a system. Memory of a smart card is used in link quality of data transmission. It allows to organize access control with the schedule without laying of communication lines between the database on the server and controllers. The connected equipment:
