2025: Presentation of the "Russ.Metro" application

Russ Group IT specialists have created the Russ.Metro corporate mobile application designed to automate the work of installation teams involved in placing, replacing and dismantling advertising in St. Petersburg metro cars. Russ announced this on March 6, 2025.

With the help of the Russ.Metro application, specialists quickly receive tasks for placing, dismantling and replacing an advertising poster in a specific car, as well as report on the work done. To optimize the process, the application is integrated with the barcode reader, which is equipped with each advertising material, which allows you to automatically record the execution of the task.

In the near future, it is planned to expand the functionality of the application: the ability to view tasks not only by carriage, but also by composition will be added. The system will automatically display which cars are included in the train, which minimizes errors associated with manual data entry. In addition, specialists will be able to assess the scope of tasks in advance, prepare the necessary materials and tools, which will increase the overall efficiency and speed of processes.

"Russ.Metro" was developed under operating system Android using the Koin framework.

The application allows you to optimize business processes and make them more transparent by combining the stages of working with advertising in St. Petersburg metro cars in a single service. In the future, we plan to introduce a function to monitor current advertising campaigns to quickly track their effectiveness and update creatives, "said Igor Koval, Director of the IT and Business Processes Department of Russ Group.
