2024: Product Announcement

On October 8, 2024, IRIT, a resident of the Aerospace Innovation Valley, announced a fully Russian unmanned aerial vehicle called Ryazan. This drone is capable of performing the functions of a reconnaissance, kamikaze and bomber, as well as solving various logistics tasks.

Yulia Shvakova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Ryazan Region, spoke about the new development. The device is made according to the quadcopter scheme with bearing screws up to 11 inches in diameter. Ryazan refers to FPV drones (First Person View): such devices are equipped with a camera that transmits real-time video to the pilot control device.

It is said that the new drone is fully assembled from components of its own production by IRIT and the production of other Russian enterprises. The drone is equipped with all the modern technologies necessary for convenient use and rapid response. In particular, a night vision camera is installed with the possibility of changing the inclination angle. A video signal encoder is provided. The communication range is said to reach 15 km.

The case is made of combined materials - plastic, glass plastic and metal. A collector-free electric motor is used, and power is provided by an 18,000 mA·ch battery. The maximum takeoff weight is up to 7 kg. The duration of the drone's flight reaches 20 minutes, the speed is 100 km/h, the altitude is 4 km.

The Ryazan drone can transport goods weighing up to 3 kg. The universal discharge system makes it possible to perform tasks related to mining the area. Due to its wide capabilities, the drone can find use in both the military and civilian spheres.[1]
