2020: As part of a three-part remote session protection solution
On November 30, 2020, it became known that S-Terra CSP and Aktiv jointly protected access to corporate resources from a remote workplace. The compact and functional solution is made using Russian developments: Rutoken EDS 2.0 Flash electronic identifier, combining the functions of a cryptographic token and a secure flash disk, a certified operating system Astra Linux 1.6 SE and a software VPN client S-Terra Client A designed to work in Astra Linux OS.
Increased security is provided by creating a trusted session and ensuring the isolation of personal and workspaces. In this case, the user needs to perform simple actions: connect Rutoken EDS 2.0 Flash to his computer or laptop, choose to boot from a USB token and pass two-factor authentication to the operating system, gaining access to the necessary resources.
Astra Linux 1.6 SE is pre-installed on a managed protected Flash disk of the Rutoken EDS 2.0 Flash identifier and does not interact with the computer file system, which ensures operating system malware that the device is not used.
During the working session, all network interactions are protected by the VPN client C-Terra Client A, which is pre-installed in Astra Linux 1.6 SE on a secure Flash disk. For enciphering the Russian cryptographic algorithms Magma and Grasshopper are used, the keys are stored in a special protected memory of the Rutoken EDS 2.0 Flash device.
The three-component solution, created in collaboration with Aktiv, provides users with reliable protection when working remotely. This task has become extremely relevant in the last year, - said Andrey Shpakov, Head of the Technical Consulting Department of S-Terra CSP LLC. - It is important that the use of domestic funds allows you to create a trusted environment, provide multifactorial authentication and protect the transmitted data in full compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation. |
