Raydsheringovy services are prohibited in Japan. Uber works in the country since September, 2018, but for entry into this market of the company it was necessary to work with the local licensed operators of the taxi. Generally Uber in Japan offers only bonus service for residents of Tokyo therefore the company occupies a small market share in the country, unlike other developed markets. Uber is going to begin cooperation with the operator of the taxi for start of full-fledged service in Japan.

The predecessor of S. Ride can be considered the service of the Line messenger which integrated with several taxi pools for provision of services of easy search and the order of the taxi, however in 2018 started in 2015 it was closed.

As notes the Bloomberg agency, the company started service of the order of the taxi a year later after change general directors. The new head Kenichiro Yoshida focused on sale of content and services instead of the equipment, and S.Ride could become a part of the strategy focused on services.[1]
