SAP BusinessObjects Explorer

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer is the configured BI system of SAP AG company. The solution allows to provide quick access to data, stating requests in a normal spoken language. The solution connects possibilities of BusinessObjects and SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator.

In May, 2009 the SAP corporation announced the new BI-application of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer intended for quick access to information necessary for acceptance of management decisions without the aid of IT personnel.

SAP BusinessObjects Explorer integrates a search capability and navigation of the SAP solutions BusinessObjects (Polestar) and SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator and allows to create quickly a clear idea of the current provision in the organization.

Using the intuitive interface SAP BusinessObjects Explorer allows to perform search of necessary data on a key word. After finding of the interesting information users can develop these data in the cuts required by it for the further analysis. Also different tools are available to users to more evident information representation at creation of reports and charts.

According to Leo Apotheker (Leo Apotheker), the co-CEO of SAP, a new system not just gives the chance to prepare the necessary reporting, but allows to change essentially a method of acceptance of management decisions at the enterprises.

According to representatives of Sara Lee company, one of the clients of SAP who were carrying out beta testing of a new system before system implementation it is necessary to carry out some preparatory measures - primary data at first should be approved and structured. The client noted the high performance of a system, however did not make the final decision on its acquisition yet.
