2019: Certification on the IATA ONE Order standard

On February 11, 2019 the SAP SE company reported that it became the first IT vendor which received the official certificate according to the IATA ONE Order standard for order management using the SAP solution Commerce Cloud Travel Accelerator.

According to the company, technologies which allow the companies to integrate all information on orders on the principle of "single window", including data on the products and services purchased by clients, a delivery status, any changes and changes and also payment information are built in the SAP solution for e-commerce. All this will help airlines to provide to clients the service based on the best practices of the industry of sales.

Air transportation are controlled outdated processes and protocols. The program of digital transformation of IATA will help to pass from the booking focused production systems to customer-oriented. And the concept of ONE Order will become the catalyst of it. IATA submits the only official industry program of certification supporting the ONE Order standard. The standard purpose - to upgrade process of management of orders in the aviation industry. Numerous and inconvenient methods of armoring, sale, a form of providing tickets and their accounting will be replaced by the concept of the uniform client order. This industry initiative is directed to integrating separate data (customer information and the order, accounts and payment, a current status of accomplishment) in a single system. Such approach will allow the companies to control in real time orders and to provide the best service to clients.

ONE Order considerably simplifies work of accounting functions of airlines.
