2019: Release of the platform for work with data

On August 19, 2019 the SAP company announced release of the platform for work with data of SAP Data Intelligence. Using the solution it will become possible to create services on the basis of machine learning and to equip with them business systems of the enterprises, in particular SAP S/4HANA.

According to the developer, the platform provides tools for creation and work with data models, their filling, training, retraining, forecasting and further commercial operation. The solution can be integrated with SAP systems and with any other software of the enterprise. It is flexibly scaled, is suitable for the innovation project of any business and also gives the chance to attract startups to work with data of the client.

SAP Data Intelligence contains:

• Integration with a source for management of transactions with data which are in the different systems (in corporate storage, in "these lakes" or arrive in the form of a flow from the equipment). In difference from similar platforms for development of the ML SAP Data Intelligence services does not demand centralization of data storage and works with the distributed data in a corporate landscape, noted in SAP.
• The directory of metadata – a uniform input which shows all information which is available in the company, storage systems, structure. He allows to create rules and to use them for the analysis of quality of data.
• Wednesday for a research of data and development of models of machine learning.
• Data Pipeline is the tool for creation of processing of data. It includes receiving in online information mode from different sources, preprocessing, combination of the structured and unstructured sources, complex calculations, forecasting using model of machine learning and the publication of result.
