SAP Enterprise Performance Management OnDemand (SAP EPM OnDemand)

The SAP solution Enterprise Performance Management OnDemand is constructed on a cloud platform using mobile technologies and calculations in RAM. This solution allows business users to increase effective management of the enterprise and to achieve excellent results.

Use of mobile applications based on a cloud platform of SAP HANA will allow business users to receive working statistics in real time and to make effective decisions. The solution was presented at a conference of users of the ASUG SAP BusinessObjects systems, from September 10 to September 13, 2012 in Orlando (Florida), during the opening speech of Sanjay Punen, the president of division of global solutions and the head of department of the SAP AG mobile solutions.

The SAP solution EPM OnDemand allows:

• Control costs. Heads of departments will obtain the complete information about accounts and will be able to take measures for correction of the wrong or duplicated payments.
• Analyze profits and losses in real time. Itemized statements on profits and losses allow to control expenses on the basis of level of consumption of resources.
• Plan capital investments. Heads of financial and other divisions will be able to increase efficiency of capital investments.

Instruments of forecasting will be regularly updated, and their opportunities — to extend. SAP EPM OnDemand will add existing solutions of SAP for performance management of work of the enterprises (EPM), including SAP Business Planning and Consolidation. The new user interface supports work with mobile devices, such as iPad, and provides access to corporate resources for bigger number of employees of the company. Besides, addition of EPM for Microsoft Office can be used not only with the SAP solution EPM OnDemand, but also with the SAP solution EPM of version 10.0. Such combination of functions expands possibilities of analytics and provides the single interface for all users — both in cloud, and in local applications.
