2006: Global Trade Services 7.0
For the first time the information system Global Trade Services published in 2002 is used in 250 companies for automation of the procedures connected with cross-border transactions. GTS 7.0, is constructed on a technology platform of SAP NetWeaver that provides its full compatibility with other products of the German producer, for example, with SCM or SRM systems. A system supports work with a large number of languages and has enhanced capabilities of reporting.
Besides, this version of a system includes the module Trade Preferences which allows to automate process of accounting of international trade agreements and the choice of optimal conditions of international supplies with their use. Other important feature of the new version is an opportunity in the automatic mode to make the letters of credit which are often used in international trade in Europe and Asia. Also, the seventh version of GTS automates document creation, customs procedures, necessary for passing, allowing the companies to reduce volumes or at all to avoid penalties.
