COVID-19 put strong pressure on the medical and biological industry, significant gaps in supply chains opened up. A single center that aggregates all the necessary information from which biomedical companies can manage their vaccination-related activities will fill existing gaps, ensuring that patients receive vital drugs and devices. |
Vaccine manufacturers, logistics providers, wholesalers, and many other companies involved in vaccinating can run their critical processes with SAP software. Based on deep industry expertise, SAP has developed VCH as an additional module for its business network that simplifies collaboration between network partners, with which it can better manage supply chains, monitor the execution of vaccine orders, tracking their path from the supplier to the point of delivery.
VCH is part of SAP's industry-specific cloud strategy to meet specific industry needs. Thanks to network and technological capabilities, the hub will support large-scale vaccination and drug distribution programs and create conditions for mitigating the effects of future emergencies.
