According to information for June, 2019 updates in SAS Analytics for IoT provide access to a set of technologies AI, machine learning and stream analysts and allow to use tools even to the business users who do not have special mathematical preparation.
The solution considers complexity and variety of the arriving data, supports a full stroke of analytics and automates timely and exact decision making.
The simplified procedures of data preparation are available to users to the analysis. And thanks to open program interfaces (API) the solution of SAS can quickly be integrated with other systems — from SAS, from third-party producers or systems constructed based on applications of open-source.
2016: Announcement of Analytics for IoT
In April, 2016 the SAS company provided the product Analytics for IoT — a specialized application package for the analysis of large volumes of the data arriving from the sensors and devices connected to IoT.
As Anton Zayats explained, the director of business development of "SAS Russia/CIS", these applications are already checked and more than once proved the efficiency when forecasting failures of the equipment, by optimization of load of the power supply network. Now they are united in the integrated packet that accelerates implementation and start of a system. |
SAS Analytics for IoT integrates in itself technologies of processing of stream data — Event Stream Processing, profound analytics and industry expertize. SAS selected for itself a role of the supplier of analytical applications for IoT/IIoT that is logical: the company specializes more than 40 years in this subject.[1]
