SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform is the integrated platform providing corporate analytics and increasing value of the existing infrastructure of the equipment and the software.

SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform increases the value of the existing systems, at the same time creating base for new, earlier impossible levels corporate a business intelligence|business analysts.

Platform components

  • SAS Data Integration represents methods of high-performance collecting of initial data, ready to application, quality checks of data, ETL (extraction, conversions and data loadings), migrations, synchronization and associations of data
  • The scalable SAS Scalable Intelligence Server server is the specialized solution for effective information storage according to requirements of a business intelligence which also assumes options of the organization of storages by the principles of relational databases, bases with parallel processing and with online analytical processing (OLAP).
  • SAS Analytic Intelligence represents an integrated environment for predictive and descriptive mathematical modeling, planning and resource optimization, reproduction of scenarios, exploratory developments, etc. SAS Analytic Intelligence allows on the basis of the existing data and infrastructures to organize effective decision making process and to perform integration into the business intelligence environment.
  • SAS Business Intelligence provides a number of opportunities of BI allowing different types of users to use reliable analytical data from a source, uniform for all company.

2013: SAS 9.4

On August 25, 2013 SAS Institute Inc. announced a release of the version of the platform – SAS 9.4. Since the moment of a release of the previous version of SAS 9.3, three years ago, to the forefront there were problems of processing of "Big Data" at high speeds. SAS 9.4 performance even more increased for distributed computing, in-database and in-memory technologies, it helps users to process quicker "big" and stream data, taking from them useful knowledge.

Description

The updated platform helps to reduce risks of failures and idle times. It is simpler in deployment, support. Protection is improved. Integration with external software and functions of reservation of key components and redistributions of loading is simplified.

The quantity of points of integration and number of necessary configuration settings is reduced. The platform offers the integrated components of "centre". No-touch deployment is supported for SAS Web Server, SAS Web Application Server, SAS Web Applications, MidTier Clustering. The setup environment as a part of SAS 9.4 can extend and be integrated into a corporate system of change management.
