2021: Start producing smart elevators that can be called a smartphone
On August 2, 2021, it became known about the start of production of smart elevators at the Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant (SCHLS). They are equipped with a special controller that receives a mobile phone signal.
In order to use such an elevator, you need to download an application called SmartAirkey onto the smartphone and indicate in it the desired floor and the distance from the user to the lift, at which the system will automatically send a call signal. The controller recognizes a potential passenger using a Bluetooth network.
The controller can also be installed at other facilities of the access system of the residential complex, for example, for entrance gates. Thus, instead of several keys and pass cards, only a smartphone with the SmartAirkey application will be needed.
According to the official website of the mayor of Moscow, the new system will allow developers to create a single access environment, while ensuring the safety of residents. Instead of several keys and pass cards, only a smartphone will be required. Houses with the use of current solutions are in demand - when buying housing, citizens pay attention to convenient options and technological innovations.
The smart elevator SCHLES has already been tested in one of the multi-storey buildings. The plant is ready for the supply of lifts equipped with a new system, said Vladimir Efimov, deputy mayor of the capital for economic development and property and land relations.
By the beginning of August 2021, four elevator manufacturing enterprises are operating in Moscow. In 2020, they released 15,400 elevators, which is 10.6% more than a year earlier.
According to the head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Alexander Prokhorov, SCHLES uses digital technologies not only in its products, but also in production itself.[1]
