2021: Plan to market the Russian version before the end of 2022

Localized at the facilities of Rusatom Healthcare (part of Rosatom Group of Companies), the version of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) GE Healthcare will enter the Russian market by the end of 2022. This became known on October 7, 2021. The project involves the organization of production of three MRI models: universal Signa Creator with an aperture of 60 cm, specialized Signa Explorer and Signa Voyager with an aperture of 70 cm and a magnetic field strength of 1.5 T. More details here.

2017: SIGNA Explorer. Opportunities. Clinical applications

According to information for November 2017, the SIGNA Explorer system offers users an optimized workflow, ease of use and high-quality images. Allows you to expand imaging capabilities and make the scanning procedure comfortable for patients.

An intuitive interface and automatically customizable scanning tools make it easier to access a variety of MR tomograph functions, allowing you to create uniform, high-quality images.

Opportunities

  • SilentScan - a technology that reduces the noise level to minimum values - 3 Db from the ambient noise level.
  • OpTix Optical RF is a digital signal conversion and further fiber transmission system that provides a 27% increase in SNR5 over standard analog signal receivers, which contributes to improved image quality and clinical validity, GE claims.
  • Expert-level application packages - speed up the workflow and make scans more comfortable for patients.

Clinical applications

  • Inhance is a contactless angiography for imaging arterial and venous blood flow.
  • Ideal IQ is a data collection and reconstruction technology that allows you to generate maps of fat content in the studied anatomical region and construct signal attenuation curves in T2 mode.
  • Vibrant is a technology that allows you to simultaneously visualize both mammary glands with fat pressure and high clarity in axial and sagittal projections.
  • StarMap - non-invasive assessment of iron content in the heart and liver.
  • Propeller is a correction of motion and sensitivity artifacts that minimizes the need for sedation.
  • Cube - Replaces multiple 2D scans with a single 3D solid image.
  • 3D Promo - provides real-time correction of motion artifacts in 3D using an algorithm that minimizes the need for repeated scans during a neurological examination.
  • Mavric SL is an advanced visualization of soft tissues and bones located next to MR-compatible metal implants.
  • MR Touch is a non-invasive assessment of liver tissue density. Images are scanned in less than 15 minutes.
