SIM
cards for children with content filtering and parental control began to be sold in Kazakhstan

SIM Kids blocks malicious sites and destructive content including suicide propaganda, pornography, drugs and online casinos. Maps allow parents to track a child's activity on the Internet and control the use of applications on a mobile device.

A special function provides communication with the child even when the silent phone mode is turned on. Parents can call children regardless of the sound settings on the device.

The parental control system includes the ability to monitor the safety of the child through a special mobile application. The geolocation function allows you to locate children in real time.

SIM cards automatically restrict access to certain sites and social networks that may contain dangerous information. Built-in security filters work without additional customization on the part of users.

The project was a continuation of the initiatives announced by Vice Minister of Education Edil Ospan. At a briefing by the Central Communications Service, he said that operators should issue special SIM cards intended for use by children.

According to Ospan, parents will be required to buy children's SIM cards for their children with additional protection functions. Such requirements are aimed at creating a secure digital environment for underage users.[1]
