"SIZ of a sertik" - a single voluntary system of certification of SIZ within the existing GOST, corporate standards and also requirements to products and materials for their production.

2020: Development and accreditation of a system of certification of SIZ

On April 14, 2020 the SIZ Association provided the system of certification of "SIZ of a sertik" which, unlike the universal systems which are carrying out certification "all and all" is directed only to work with individual protection equipment.

Since December 26, 2019 according to Order No. 3358 of Federal Agency for Technical Regulation of Metrology (Rosstandart) in the territory of the Russian Federation it is terminated the system of voluntary certification of GOST P. It means that in the country there is no profile system left in the field of confirmation of quality and security of individual protection equipment having necessary experience and competence. The SIZ Association developed for permission of current situation and accredited the specialized system "SIZ of a Sertik"

As the developer noted, applying SIZ, the consumer should be sure of their proper quality, reliability and security. The SIZ of a Sertik system which implementation represents special importance in days of a pandemic of a koronavirusny infection can provide it. In the conditions of panic and the increased demand for individual protection equipment, people occasionally cease to pay attention to whether these means are certified.

"One of the main advantages of the SIZ of a Sertik system consists that the accredited profile testing laboratories (members of ASIZ) and experts with extensive work experience in the market of SIZ are involved in it. It will allow to increase quality of certification significantly. And the transparency of a system will allow to get rid of potential abuses from unfair participants of the market of certification and turnover of SIZ that, eventually, will help the consumer", 'Vladimir Kotov, the President of SIZ Association noted'

Certification system implementation with participation of the profile experts and the test centers accredited in "SIZ of a sertik" will also allow to reduce significantly terms of holding a procedure of certification and to reduce its cost that, in turn, will lead both producers, and receivers of SIZ to cost reduction. As a result of active work of uniform competence center there is possible effective solution of such industry problems as disbalance of the requirements and criteria of certification (in particular, on protective properties of the same products) reflected in documents on standardization (service station) of the enterprises working in close conditions (PJSC Gazprom, JSC "Russian Railways", JSC Rosneft, Etc.), Differences of Stages of Confirmation of Conformity and Cost of Certification in the Different Departmental Systems, Insufficient Number of Profile Specialists and Testing Laboratories, Etc. Thus, System SIZ sertika guarantees accurate terms, specific cost and high quality of work, claim in SIZ Association.

It is supposed that voluntary certification within "SIZ of a sertik" will be carried out using one of schemes: certification on the basis of results of tests of the samples SIZ provided by the applicant in the accredited testing laboratory (center) or certification on the basis of results of tests of the samples SIZ which are taken away from the manufacturer, the supplier (or the consumer, in case of need), in the accredited laboratory and results of certification of the quality system of production. The applicant has the right to select the scheme of certification of SIZ independently, the solution designer noted.

According to the statement of the developer, formation based on "SIZ of a sertik" of a single voluntary system of certification of SIZ within the existing GOST and standards of the enterprises which exceed the minimum requirements of TR CU 019/2011 and also requirements to products and materials for their production will provide effective solution of questions of voluntary certification.
