SOFiSTiK is the integrated software package using a method of the final and element analysis (MKE) of building constructions of buildings, bridges, tunnels and solving of tasks of geotechnics. SOFiSTiK is adapted for construction tasks and completely localized for application in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries. Among features of SOFiSTiK there is a wide range of possibilities of modeling of constructions and loadings, the modern graphical interface adapted for construction tasks, a possibility of parametrization of calculations, a uniform design model "soil construction", a large number of specialized modules, external interfaces (Revit, Femap, IFC, Fides, etc.).

The SOFiSTiK PC important property – capability to work in the environment of information modeling of construction objects, using BIM technology which draws attention of designers and customers in the construction industry more and more, becomes the standard for serious large construction projects. Important also the fact that the SOFiSTiK PC provides the analysis of constructions on EuroCode regulations what opens opportunities for cooperation with firms – representatives of the EU.

Functionality of the software package SOFiSTiK:

  • Design of buildings SOFiSTiK offers different software packages of the analysis of various types of constructions by the finite-element method on the static and dynamic loads and their combinations based on a basic solver of FEA SOFiSTiK ASE. Calculation of the uniform model "soil-a construction" is provided
  • Design of tunnels and the geotechnical analysis The module WinTUBE is a professional interactive graphic preprocessor of CAD. It is specially developed for creation of 3D design models from volume KE of tunnels and the geotechnical systems. WinTUBE is used as the powerful tool for creation of settlement schemes, tasks of loading and generation of a grid of terminal elements as well for management of blueprint stages
  • Design and calculation of steel structures The modules ASE, STAR and DYNA offer powerful tools for the analysis and design of difficult space steel structures. In addition to the linear analysis these programs allow to consider physical and geometrical nonlinearity in models of metal constructions.   • Design and calculation of bridge constructions of any type taking into account all potential impacts and factors Complex technology of the analysis and design of bridge constructions of the parametrical CABD models (Computer Aided Bridge Design): steel concrete (including prestrained), steel and wooden bridges, composite (STZhB) bridges; different constructive systems: box-shaped beams, Tee beams, arch bridges, cable-stayed and suspension bridges; modeling of all mounting techniques, including consecutive on flights, balanced hinged installation, a sliding on support, etc.
  • Dynamic and seismic analysis DYNA is the independent module for dynamic and seismic analysis. ASE 1 and ASE 2 implement a method of step-by-step integration on time and determination of own values of fluctuations
  • Wind load The module SOFiLOAD (W, WH) offers means for determination of wind pressure for any surfaces, ropes, circuits, and frame elements taking into account a landscape, a static wind load; automatic accounting of volume of a wind load; determination of a dynamic wind load, 10-minute ranges of a wind load
  • Design of the pile bases The modules HASE and PFAHL are specialized tools for calculations of the pile bases. Operation of the module HASE (2D, 3D) is based on the analysis of draft of a half-space of the bases by a stiffness coefficient method. The module PFAHL includes the analysis of pile constructions, inelastic or elastic piles, calculation for the 2nd failure theory for single piles, accounting of different layers of earth, friction on pile surfaces, influence of shift of piles, accounting of the floating basis

Management of packets of SOFiSTiK happens to the help of the SOFiSTiK Structural Desktop (SSD) complex which provides purposeful approach to work, submitting different procedures or certain tasks from library. Initial data are entered due to modeling by special preprocessors of SOFiPLUS and WinTUBE in the environment of AutoCAD, reading models of constructions from AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit Structure or through the tabular editor. SOFiSTiK is provided (in addition to the graphics editor SOFiPLUS) powerful text by the editor and a scripting language for management of work of all programs. The editor of TEDDY allows to create parametrical data sets for any module SOFiSTiK.
