SXF Tools is a module expansion to ArcGIS which is intended for converting of space data from the SXF format (GIS "Panorama") in the formats .gdb, .mdb, .sde supported by ArcGIS.

Use of SXF Tools allows to transfer without loss data from the GIS "Panorama" to ArcGIS upon transition to new GIS and also to organize data exchange between the business units using different GIS.

Any ArcGIS database is result of operation of the instrument of converting of the module SXF Tools (.gdb, .mdb, .sde) that allows to store not only vector objects, but also summaries (text).

Output format of the draft of the map is .mxd which map development gives an opportunity, to the closest to the original.

Export of data from ArcGIS to binary type of the .sxf format allows to receive the full-fledged card for use it in the GIS "Panorama" .yat a possibility of map development, close to the original.

Functionality

  • Support of binary and text types of the .sxf format.
  • Conversion of objects and texts from .sxf in sets of classes of objects and summaries of bases of geodata, including:
    • geometry and objects attributes
    • summaries (simple)
    • structures of tables (fields and aliases of fields, classes and aliases of classes)
    • automatic splitting objects from .sxf on several classes depending on geometry type.

  • Transfer of parameters of display of objects, including:

    • characters (line, dotted line, polygon, point sign, sign True Type, etc.)
    • renderer (classification of characters)
    • text summaries.

  • Support of different coordinate systems
  • Export of the .mxd card to .sxf with preserving of geometry and objects attributes, reference designations, texts, card projections.
