2021: Announcement of the home Samsung Bot Handy robot

Within the CES 2021 exhibition in January the presentation of home robot Samsung Bot Handy which puts away linen took place, loads the dishwasher and pours wine. On it the functionality of the device is not limited, the South Korean producer notes.

Bot Handy received the only manipulator with three hinges (in a shoulder, an elbow and on a wrist) – with the "claw" capable to take and hold objects. As the information display two virtual eyes transferring a status or emotions are used. The robot can move on rotary base, turn on site and increase the growth to reach higher objects.

According to developers, for object recognition of "the different size, a form and weight" the robot uses "advanced artificial intelligence" and cameras and can define what force needs to be applied to take a subject. Thanks to it the robot is capable to carry out cleaning of rooms, to remove products, to set the table and even to transfer dirty ware from a sink to the dishwasher.

As notes TechSpot, the robot it is expected executes transactions slowly, however this sluggishness is compensated by the fact that it automates homework which many people would like not to do independently. The edition called Bot Handy the personal housekeeper constructed on artificial intelligence.

By January 12, 2021 the cost of the Bot Handy robot and terms of his availability are not called.

Along with Bot Handy the Samsung company provided the Bot Care robot using the system of artificial intelligence to distinguish behavior of the user and to react to it. The device executes a role of the daily assistant, studies a daily routine and the user's habits to send to the owner important reminders.^[1]
