2024: Presentation of the operational-dispatch communication system

SATEL April 15, 2024 presented a system of operational dispatch communication, which allows the use of technologies for the transmission of speech information in production. The solution is based on a single platform with the capabilities of audio, video communication, text communication and monitoring of presence status. The development and production of its own equipment on the Russian market is another breakthrough of the company in the development of solutions for industrial enterprises.

The main elements of the SATEL operational-dispatch communication complex are the Dispatch Console of its own production, as well as a digital telephone communication system for enterprises of any scale - the RTU platform (Russian telephone node).

The control panel was developed by the R&D department of SATEL, located in the city of St. Petersburg. The hardware platform is based on x86 processors, while supporting ARM processors, including Russian ones. All electronic modules were developed in-house by the company using the Russian electronic component base, as well as taking into account the specifics of industry requirements. The console platform includes a color touch screen and differs from similar foreign equipment in its modular structure, programmable keys, the ability to connect a headset and turn on the speakerphone. The device has a passive cooling system for all components, an ergonomic design with adjusting the desired tilt of the case and connectivity. The own development of circuitry and the design of the dispatcher's touch console allows the most targeted, flexible and prompt adaptation of the solution for the end user with the implementation of specific tasks.

This SATEL solution has one interface for communication over different communication channels, the ability to simultaneously connect several terminals, connect additional modules and program button assignment. Also among the advantages is the ability to centrally manage call routing, organize multilateral conference calls, and ensure the transition to voice transmission technologies over a data network.

In developing the platform, we were able to overcome all the difficulties associated with supply chains and a lack of human resources. The most effective will be the use of an operational dispatch communication system in industrial and energy companies, transport facilities, urban infrastructures, especially given the fact that our development meets all the requirements for these industries.
