Saures C1 water Counters with the radio module NB-IoT

2019: Release of the counter of Saures C1 water

On June 20, 2019 it became known that the Saures company, the Russian developer and the producer of electronics and a cloud service, released the smart counter of water with the radio-module NB-IoT.

The Saures C1 counter, according to the company, ready NB-IoT the solution for the end consumer. Wires, electric sockets and the additional communication hardware are not required for the provided counters, data are transmitted through already built and available network mobile operator MTS. The counter transfers data in internet also easy as it does smartphone.

NB-IoT is the standard of communication for smart devices. The key feature – NB-IoT is developed on already existing network of base stations of mobile operators. The coverage existing for June, 2019 already allows to use NB-IoT-counters of more than 50 million residents of Russia, claim in Saures.

According to the producer, owners of Saures C1 counters will also get access to the operating cloud service, a personal account, mobile applications and mechanisms of automatic sending indications.

The NB-IoT-counter is installed as the normal counter of water at any stage of construction and repair. From the first day of operation the counter gives an opportunity to owners to configure automatic sending indications to itself, in UK or EIRTs. The main engine of sending – e-mail. For Muscovites integration into the city MOS.RU portal is, in addition, implemented.

Technically the device is a measuring part and the radio module. According to the producer, communication between these parts is performed using reliable optics and is not subject to noises, wear, magnets. In the device a measuring part of ITELMA company is used. It is made of the European component parts on technologies of SIEMENS that, according to Saures, provides high utilization properties. The radio module works from the replaced lithium battery and at data transmission of times in three days more than 6 years work, i.e. from checking before checking its replacement is not required.

The personal personal account in which all counters and analytics on them are displayed is available to the resident. The data access is possible from every spot on the globe using web browser or mobile application for iOS/Android (Saures application). In a personal account there is an attraction mode that it was possible to get acquainted with systems capabilities even before its purchase, emphasized in Saures.

The personal account in which all apartments, all devices, all users are displayed is available to management companies and condominium. In it the opportunity of obtaining indications from all apartments for a certain day with unloading in Excel is given. Together with 1C company integration into the solution "1C is developed : Accounting in management companies of housing and public Utilities, Condominium, HCC" which allows to transfer in the automatic mode data on the consumed resources in this accounting system. According to the producer, all this allows to automate effectively collecting of indications from the whole apartment house or the residential quarter.

As noted in Saures, are included in service functions also the analyst of a consumption of water to within an hour, and control of a suspicious expense. So, in case of a long uniform expense, owners receive the notification on the mobile phone. The smart algorithm detects, both slowly current stream, and the rushed stream from the burst flexible eyeliner. The smart counter without installation of additional resources and sensors allows to detect the forgotten crane, faults of plumbing fixtures, to reveal the hidden leaks and to prevent flooding. In such foreshortening the counter stops being only the obligatory reporting device and becomes a store of value of the family budget of Russians and also the instrument of preserving of water resources.

As of June, 2019 the NB-IoT-counter underwent approbation in residential apartments, is put in serial production and is available in a warehouse of the producer. Each owner of housing can purchase and set it.^[1]
