2020: Official launch of the service

On April 22, 2020, Sberbank officially announced the SberAvpark service, which specializes in operational leasing - long-term rental of cars with an additional set of services.

SberAvpark offers rental cars and light commercial transport. The company is also working on the creation of a model and products for the provision of freight vehicles in operational leasing.

Sberbank launched a car rental service

SberAvpark works mainly with corporate customers, and for this segment the company offers three products:

• operational leasing;
• return leasing;
• fleet management.

To rent a car, an advance payment will not be required. The amount of payment for the use of transport will also depend on the period and annual mileage fixed in the contract. The proposed rental rock is from six months to five years, and the mileage for the entire period should not exceed 200 thousand km. At the same time, SberAvpark expressed its readiness to discuss individual options for cooperation.

These decisions, as stated in Sberbank, allow customers to get rid of financial and operational risks, as well as the risk of residual value of cars faced by corporate fleet owners.

About 30 services are already included in the single rental payment, and this solution eliminates the need for customers to work with dealers, service stations, insurance companies, bus services and other suppliers.

By April 22, 2020, several models are presented on the project website  - according to representatives of the service, the most popular. These are cars of different classes: from Lada Largus to Mercedes-Benz E-class and Ford Transit. 

Also at the testing stage by April 22, 2020 are solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as for individuals.^[1]
