The multitask computer - the computer on the platform of the Elbrus processor.
On July 13, 2016 Scientific Research Institute Masshtab announced release of the protected computer constructed on the basis of the Elbrus-4C processor.
The computer is developed in the St. Petersburg Scientific Research Institute Masshtab. For July 13, 2016 it has no own name[1].
The device can be used as the server of general purpose, but it is focused on work as the telecommunication device - office IP PBX, the router or the firewall. For implementation of this functionality it is required to install on the computer special software, developed in Scale.
A system is intended for application and the industrial companies, the state organizations and departments with increased requirements to information security. According to him, a part of users of the foreign telecom equipment "lost an opportunity to buy it, to receive technical support and to perform repair". The version of the computer with the Elbrus-4C processor is focused on customers with high requirements to information security. Additional protection to the solution is provided by the module of a trusted boot which is built in the system unit, developers reported.
The automatic telephone exchange on the basis of "the multitask computer" works running Astra Linux OS 1.3 which has safety certificates up to level "confidentially".
In addition to the computer on the Elbrus processor, the version of the device on the processor of architecture x86 is developed.
The standard configuration provides the processor with 2-4 cores working at frequency from 1 GHz with RAM from 4 GB and the disk storage module not less than 128 GB.
Assembly of the device will be executed at capacities of the St. Petersburg enterprise. Start in a series is planned in 2017.
