Add 4500 Telegram channels for analysis
On March 25, 2024, the Interfax group presented a major update of the SCAN-Interfax reputation management system. Almost 4500 Telegram channels have been added, the search for which works the same way as for the media. You can build analytics on them, receive notifications and look for risks, the company said.
The non-promotional team selected the most influential and inclusive channels, mentions in which not a single PR specialist would want to miss. Among them are posts and reposts in news and educational channels, blogs of opinion leaders and public people, resources of federal and regional significance.
The source base is constantly replenished according to its criteria.
Telegram publications can be found in search and information guides, received in feeds and monitors, analytical graphs can be built on them and PR indices are counted, they are displayed in risk reports and portfolios.
Telegram posts are taken into account in the calculations of PR indices: coverage, visibility indices, direct speech and reputational risk, in the key - together with the media. They also fall into the search along with other resources, and you can analyze everything together without unloading individual excels and without opening several tabs.
Telegram can be filtered if it is not needed in the report, but you can, on the contrary, search only for it.
SCAN users will notice a jump in coverage, mention and visibility indicators and changes in the distribution of tonality, and telegram publications will appear in search results.
If you need to return to the previous data in saved reports and monitors, you can disable Telegram in the report settings.
Telegram is taken into account in the calculation of PR indices, and this can greatly affect the usual numbers. To see the indicators without the influence of the Telegram and compare them with the previous figures, you need to exclude Telegram from the calculation.
Telegram is already included for all customers of SCAN.
Opportunity to look for any legal entity of Russia and the CIS
On February 15, 2024, the Interfax group announced the release of an update to the SCAN-Interfax system (SCAN) - the legal entity's database was supplemented with data from SPARK.
Previously, if a client wanted to find a company in SCAN that did not have a developed card, it was necessary to wait 1-2 days until support created it.
Now, without waiting for the creation of the card, you can find any legal entity of Russia and the CIS, see its mentions in the media, build a tonality graph, see PR indices: visibility index, direct speech, etc.
By default, SCAN uses a broad search for unprocessed cards. The output for such a search includes mentions of two types:
- those where the name of the company was recognized along with another important feature: TIN, ownership form, head of the company and mention context;
- those where only the name is mentioned, unless SCAN has determined that it is exactly another company with different details.
If you want to narrow the issuance, you can choose the most accurate search, only organizations with the coincidence of the name + TIN, ownership forms and the head of the company will fall into it.
The exact search can also be used in portfolios: for each organization, select this option to filter extra publications by counterparty:
Before the update, only one thing could be used for the search: TIN or name. Now you can add details to the name and thus refine the search. This is especially useful when the company has a common name.
At the same time, you can still search for only one feature: the name, TIN, OGRN or SPARK code.
The tips from the parent companies now include the name of the executive. And in the hints you can see important notes, for example, that the company is no longer functioning or that the company is a division.
2020: Data delivery from MediaHills
In order to develop the reputation management system and media analysis of SCAN, the Interfax international information group has entered into a partnership agreement with MediaHills. As part of the agreement, MediaHills will supply data on the regular coverage of the television audience of Russian channels for all customers of the SCAN system. Interfax announced this on September 3, 2020.
Coverage data will be presented on Russian TV programs on channels included in 1 and 2 multiplexes. In the future, the list of programs is planned to be expanded.
The base for obtaining information monthly coverage was primary data collected by MediaHills using RPD (Return Path Data) technology communications. The size of the panel is 2.3 million households in 240 cities across. Russia
With the help of this data, SCAN clients will be able to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns and information feeds, find the most popular media and track the dynamics of news distribution.
